When formally building the station and in relation to the Texture Pack the following things should be considered: Burnable Blocks www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Fire#BehaviorTime to Mine Block www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Pickaxe#Speed_and_DurabilityBlocks Blast Resistance www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Explosion#Blast_ResistanceAt some point syndies will have access to TNT and fire bombs so how there needs to be a balance as to how much destruction will this cause the station? Ideally I think a syndie bomb should be able to punch a hole through the hull but not destroy half of the station. So with that concept in mind, I propose that the outer layer of the station be built with strong materials such as stone, brick, etc. and the interior be built with softer material such as wood, wool, etc. I think a good balance would be to make the floors out of wool. It has a low blast radius for TNT and is flammable. In addition to this there can be multiple types of floor using the colored blocks. So the scenario is that TNT (syndie bomb) goes off and destroys a huge section of the floor, a small section of the wall, and a few blocks of the station hull causing the vaccum of space to rush through. (aka water) Second scenario is that the Fire bomb is released and the flames spread all across the floors in a blaze of glory. Then someone presses the firelock doors so that it is contained. Whatcha Think? I will have a screenshot of what the hull/hallway of this might look like soon. ;D

Another idea could be to seperate sections of the station to automatically seal when the hull is breached. For example, one could have it so that when the redstone circuitry breaks, the sticky pistons seal the doors, ensuring that the colds of space don't completely ruin the station. Hello, by the way!

Well Froz I think that will all come down to redstone engineering. If we can make it without too much clutter, then it's possible!

Also I need to make a list of all the block from ss13 and tools. Can you think of any use for gravity blocks like gravel & sand? For a moment I was considering using grinders as gravel or sand, because they were movable in SS13 but it doesn't feel like it would fit the theme. (gravel and sand are very quick to destroy with any item) A grinder should take a long time to mine.
Also unique blocks like, nether (burns eternally) or cactus? Let me know! Thanks!
(now im heading to work!) cya

Oh, wow. Sorry, I've been out of commission for a LONG while. If possible, one could use Gravity Blocks as a cheap sealant for leaks, but I can't think of anything else.

Oh, wow. Sorry, I've been out of commission for a LONG while. If possible, one could use Gravity Blocks as a cheap sealant for leaks, but I can't think of anything else. Nice to see you back Froz! I already had thought of that as an idea and have been trying to implement it in the most useful way possible. Bombs will be going off near or inside the station. So explosions have to be factored from above, below, beside, and the middle of the station/locations and determine how using "gravity blocks" (sand & gravel) will help seal a leak. This is actually a great way to seal redstone wire that becomes exposed to the void of space. So far what I have now looks promising but I feel like it needs minor tweaking... Keep in mind I will be including a mod (I won't have to code it b/c it's already made) that lets you customize the strength of TNT to x2, x4 etc. I will make the variables balanced so that when a traitor can buy explosives they have a few options but nothing overpowered. Something like this, Syndie Pipe Bomb - 1 telecrystal (1/2 strength of TNT) Normal Bomb - 2 Telecrystal (Normal TNT) Fusion Bomb - 4 Telecrystal (x2 Strength of TNT)
